The Best Places to Hook Up During Spring Weekend
Ah, Spring Weekend. One second you're drunk dancing with your friends, the next you're making steamy eye contact with the person who sits two rows behind you in lecture, and before you know it, you're making out in front of your ex. Since it's probably the largest congregation of drunk (or otherwise inebriated) students on campus, it's no surprise that during Spring Weekend, the Main Green basically turns into one giant sexual fishbowl. It could be a TA you've fantasized about, a friend you've always had a thing for, or even a complete stranger. But after you latch on to your special someone -- what's next? You can't awkwardly grind in the middle of a circle of friends forever. Where do you go? What are the best places to hook up during Spring Weekend?
- Right in the middle of the Main Green
Hey, it's convenient. You've already paid for the ticket, so you might as well enjoy the music, which is probably a welcome soundtrack. Plus, this way you don't have to answer awkward questions like "Where do you live?" or "What's your concentration?" What's the point of hooking up if all your friends can't see?
- The First Floor of the Rock
Yeah, at this point who hasn't hooked up in the Sci Li stacks. Boring. Take advantage of the fact that the entire school is outside and fulfill your most academic fantasy. Hope that the proximity to books and learning helps to alleviate some of your finals anxiety!
- Your room, between the half-full red solo cup and the trash can full of vomit
It's not the most romantic option, but it is the most private.

Definitely the only time it will be socially acceptable to full-on make out in the Ratty. Why not take advantage of this most precious opportunity? Snacks and water will be readily available, which is always nice.
- Porta Potty
Do it for the story! You don't have to leave the concert or worry about offending people with your PDA: the best of both worlds. Plus, think of this as good practice if you have ever wanted to join the mile high club. I would say a porta potty and an airplane bathroom are around the same size.
