What: First Beginner Lindy Hop Lesson

When: 8-9 PM

Where: Alumnae Hall

What: Brown Band First Spring Rehearsal

Where: Fulton Rehearsal Hall

Description: Join the Brown University Band for our first rehearsal of the Spring semester! Meet us in Fulton Rehearsal Hall on the corner of Hope and Benevolent for fun, music, and good vibes! No musical experience necessary! If you can't make it to this rehearsal, we will always welcome you at future rehearsals and events!!!

Description: Have you ever dreamed of living in a fairy tale? Well, come participate in a Shakespearean comedy with us (we think it’s close enough). Come in your best 1500s period clothes - or just whatever fancy clothes you don’t have other occasions to show off. Regarding attire, we promise this is a judgment-free zone, but we’ll certainly be judging your milkshake choice.

What: Saudi Arabia: American Ally or Liability?

When: 6:30-7:30 PM

Where: Salomon Hall, Room 004

Description: New strains have developed in recent years between the United States and Saudi Arabia. Jamal Khashoggi’s 2018 assassination, coupled with the ongoing war in Yemen, has engendered greater reassessments of the relationship. This conversation with Dr. Karen E. Young, a Resident Scholar at AEI, will discuss the future of U.S.-Saudi relations and regional interests as well as adversaries. AEI at Brown welcomes students, staff and community members of all different political positions and stances on this issue. The discussion will be held in Room 004 and Nice Slice Pizza will be served.

What: Earring Workshop

When: 3-4:30 PM

Where: Brown Design Workshop

Description: February Building with the Monitors is an acrylic earring workshop with Nina, Samanta, and XingXing!

You will be learning how to make your own custom earrings to take home with all materials provided by the BDW :)

This workshop has limited seats. A form will be released on Monday at 3PM for you to sign up. Seats will be determined from the order of sign-ups. Open to all community members.

Description: Are you excited about the Chinese Lunar New Year? The Brown CSSA, with joint partnership with institutions across Rhode Island, is presenting the Rhode Island Spring Festival Gala! Come enjoy music, dance, and all Chinese-language performances are accompanied by subtitles.
