Ben Connor '22 is from Wilmington, Delaware. Some people have never heard of Delaware. He’s going to be concentrating in either comparative literature or theater, which is no surprise if you know that he is a published playwright. If he does CompLit he’ll be able to compare his own plays to other plays with a well-developed eye. Then again, he wants to write about theater for the blog, so it’s obvious where his true loyalties lie. He LOVES boats.
- Lily Willis

Lily Willis '22 is a sophomore from “San Francisco, I guess.” Stay tuned to find out her concentration, which will either be in English, History, or American Studies (a department which she thinks should just be called Studies). Her favorite mode of transport is a wave of water, which (in this interviewer’s opinion) is a super creative answer that makes the rest of us look like schmucks. Lily was on a competitive mountain bike team in high school, and she has lived in nine different states. Instead of answering banal questions about which state was her favorite, though, she has committed instead to write many, many Blognonian articles which exclusively “debunk the inherent violence of regionally specific superiority complexes." Before you can even start ranting about how great your Chicago pizzas or your New York accents are, she will shut you down.
- Ben Connor

Elliana Reynolds '22, a sophomore concentrating in Education Studies in History, has the aspiration to teach (God bless her soul). In particular, she would like to delve into the hell that is teaching high school juniors (freshmen are annoying, she claims, and seniors just don’t give a shit. Who can blame her?). She hails from the foreign land of Illinois, more specifically, from the suburbs of Chicago. Her favorite mode of transportation is riding bicycles, but the weird streets and loopy landscaping at Brown has got her not loving the bike-riding scene here. Illinois was flat; Brown just is not. One of her quirky traits is that she has double-jointed finger knuckles, which she demonstrated on my arm (yes, literally, on my arm). It was quite the affectionate way to introduce herself to me, and I absolutely loved every moment of it (needless to say, I was a little freaked out at first). For the Blog, she hopes to write about trends and what to do off-campus!
- Katie Gu

Katie Gu ‘23 is a first-year from Santa Rosa, California. She’s planning on concentrating in public health and identifies as pre-med, meaning she has self-confidence but also probably slightly hates herself. To make up for (or add to) her possible self-hatred, Katie loves to party, so much so that she once went to a Halloween Party and ended up peeing her pants because she refused to miss a single moment. (She claims she was a second grader.) Katie also enjoys riding trains, and she hopes to write about “sad boi hours,” something that she and almost everyone else at Brown experiences.
