Event: BASE Black & Pink Holiday Card-Making Party

Time: 7-8:30pm

Location: Sarah Doyle Center for Women & Gender (26 Benevolent St.)

Description: Join Brown Asian Sisters Empowered to make and write cards for our incarcerated community members! Black & Pink is an organization of LGBTQ prisoners and “free world” allies who support each other. Find more information here!

Event: Opening for Tiny Enchantments Exhibit

Location: Fleet Library at RISD (15 Westminster St.), Dale Reading Room 201

Description: Tiny Enchantments: A Closer Look at Miniature Books is hosting a reception for the opening of their exhibit. Head down to Fleet Library to eat some snacks, admire some tiny books, and listen to Special Collections intern Ellen Cummings’ brief talk on miniature books.

Description: Surprised that Brown offers a class in boatbuilding? Yeah, we’re not either. We are, however, excited to help the class test (and hopefully celebrate) the boat they have been building all semester. Light snacks, drinks, music, and chilly weather will be in attendance.
