The Blognonian Presents: 2019 Halloween Costume Winners

Halloweek of 2019 has finally come to an end, and here at Blog we’ve been busy running our expert analyses on your costume submissions. The results are in. While 2019 saw far fewer meme-inspired costumes than 2018, creativity levels were still through the roof. Without further ado, the winners of Blog’s 2019 Halloween Costume Contest:

Overall winner:

James B. '23, Nat F. '23, and Elliot H. '23 rocking different iterations of Gerard Way—the lead singer of My Chemical Romance—throughout the years. While we may not have gotten the reference at first, the execution was unparalleled.

Source material for above costume. Y'all can do my makeup anytime.

Most creative:

Neil S. '21 and friend as pre and post-glow-up Josh Peck. A transformation we can all get behind.

Most badass:

Emily G. '20 and Kyle K. '20 as Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Rumor has it RBG was later spotted on the dance-floor at Whiskeys. Talk about resilience.

Source material. The resemblance is uncanny.

Congrats to our winners, and thanks to everyone who submitted! Remember, it's never too early to start planning for next year...
