Her research to date concerns migration and border security at the U.S.-Mexico border. Rejecting disciplinary divisions between practice of border security and experiences of undocumented migrants crossing borders, Gabriella explores the dynamic material assemblages of evidence where the two intersect and entwine, where agency, victimization, power, and control are contingent and in active negotiation."
