Well, really more like Wednesday, technically. Various musical artists will be playing from 9 until midnight, at which point we'll find out what we've all been waiting for (Ke$ha?). Wednesday, March 20Event: Shake Shack OpeningLocation: That weird construction site, 249 Thayer St.Time: 11 a.m.Description: According to their own website, Shake Shack is a "modern day version of a roadside burger stand." Think what you will of them, but they're definitely moving into Providence. We've heard rumors of extremely long lines and/or people taking drastic measures to be among the first to get into the newest installment on Thayer Street. Good luck out there.

According to the Providence Athenaeum, the host for the event, "Her newest novel, The Female Persuasion, has been called 'the perfect feminist blockbuster for our times,' and the recent film adaptation of The Wife has captivated audiences and earned Glenn Close a Golden Globe for Best Actress."Wolitzerd will sign books after the talk.
