Overheard @Brown... Model UN

This past weekend, Brown hosted it's annual conference for high school students, Brown University Simulation of the United Nations (BUSUN). At our weekly Sunday night meeting, Blog was dismayed to discover that our classroom had been used for BUSUN - that is, until we opened and started reading some of the notes that had been left all over the floor. For those of you who weren't nerds in high school don't know, MUN enforces a strict parliamentary procedure, which means no talking out loud. Instead, delegates from each country pass notes to each other during the conferences. While the majority of the notes we found were, indeed, related to the UN debates at hand, us Bloggers didn't graduate from high school THAT long ago. A few years ago we, too, were raging balls of hormones and sexual frustration, ready to flirt, arrange parties and exchange snapchat handles through unregulated note-passing at the first opportunity. And, if memory serves correctly, MUN conferences offered the perfect opportunity to do all of the above. So, we performed a bit of pretty impressive investigative journalism (we dug through some high schoolers' trash) to bring you the best notes left behind from Brown MUN's conference this weekend:To start off, these sweet notes warmed our hearts.  Oh right, that's who. Sorry Parker! Honestly, corruption IS lit. This kid has a bright future.  Oh SHIT, I hear that these days in high school asking for someone's snap is, like, basically asking them to marry you.  Not everyone can pay attention all the time, OK.  Some people were so bored, they started doing superlatives and, honestly, this stuff is comedic gold.  Saudi Arabia, we'll see you at Brown! CLASSIC Russia. LMAO where's the party?  Well, looks like Honduras and Pakistan would fit right in at Brown! I want to meet Teddy!

Good to know that the chair was not joking around. Good to know that the chair was not joking around.
