Halloween is about eating way too much sugar and being creative, and these local restaurants have provided us with opportunities to do both. This is for those of us who are simply not satisfied with bite sized Milky Ways and yellow Starbursts this Halloween season.Seven Stars BakeryIf you're looking to spice up the everyday chocolate chip blue room cookie, Seven Stars will be offering festive black bat shaped short bread cookies on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.Three SistersThree Sisters is known for their creative, sometimes unconventional, but always delicious ice cream. This year's Halloween themed seasonal flavor comes with a caramelized butternut squash base with dried cherries mixed in. Strange? For sure. Worth a try? Definitely.Ellie's BakeryIf you’re looking for a more high brow take on the Halloween staple of cheap candy, your go to is Ellie’s Bakery. It’s a small French inspired cafe and bakery that is now selling candy themed macarons. Their “Trick or Treat Candy Collection” features Snickers, candy corn, and Sweet Tart flavored macarons.Clean PlateIf you desire a full blown Halloween meal, the Clean Plate is hosting a "Spooky Brunch" on Saturday, October 30th.
