Brown's Spotify is actually pretty cool

The Blognonian recently discovered that Brown has a Spotify account, and it’s actually worth checking out. While Brown tweeted about it a while ago, this seems to be news to most people. Unfortunately, it doesn’t include the Mail Room’s fresh playlists or CPax’s favorite slow jams, but it does have playlists compiling the work of some of Brown’s most famous musical alumni. The playlists are separated into categories of singer/songwriter, classical, rap, composers, and bands, featuring alumni musicians like Lisa Loeb and OK Go. This account is definitely an eclectic mix (the fact that Brown's official Spotify includes a song called "Make Em Purr" really says it all), but it showcases some of the musicians from Brown that only a few students know about. Now you can jam out and show some Brown pride at the same time!Screen Shot 2016-03-20 at 2.19.41 PMAlso, if you somehow need to get more pumped for Spring Weekend, Brown’s Spotify has playlists for each Spring Weekend since 1960. If you want a crash course in the festival's history, Brown's Spotify has got you covered. You can listen to some of last year’s Waka Flocka Flame or you can throw it back and sit in awe as you realize Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen really did perform at Brown. If you never fully appreciated how truly magnificent Spring Weekend is (seriously, some of the performers we’ve gotten are unreal), these playlists are sure to make this very, very clear. From Ella Fitzgerald and James Brown to MGMT and Kendrick Lamar, there’s something in there for any decade of music your heart desires. With a mere 78 followers, the Brown Spotify account is tragically unknown, so give it some love and fill your life with some Spring Weekend ~vibes~.https://play.spotify.com/user/brownu/playlist/6tOSUp3cyvr28MYn9ghw8L  Images via
