Welcome to the Rock Café

If you still haven’t been inside the Rock this semester, you’ll find that a couple of things have changed. The library has added a new digital studio (The Center for Digital Scholarship), more areas to sit in the lobby, and perhaps most importantly for caffeine-lovers, a new place to get coffee. The once-shabby cart has now been replaced with an actual café, equipped with all the basics of a collegiate Starbucks. Take a look at the new installations:

The new space features include roomy cabinets, microwaves, and sinks.

Even more room for pastries—take it in a plate, or grab a bag.

The coffee dispensers have been upgraded a la Ratty. And what’s that over there? Full size freezers?

Yep. Multiple freezers, with even more space for yogurt, parfaits, hummus, veggies, sushi...

Pudding, fruit cups, wraps, veggies…

And all the drinks you may need—including Red Bull.

And finally, don’t forget the fruit, chips, fruit snacks, oatmeal, and an extensive array of gum and protein bars.
