Buddy Cianci's funeral

This snowy Monday morning the casket of Buddy Cianci, the late, highly controversial mayor of Providence, was carried out of City Hall where it had been on public display for the weekend and put onto a horse-drawn carriage. The funeral procession snaked through Downtown Providence as onlookers watched silently, pausing to take photos from windows or coming out of shops to witness the cavalcade.[flickr_set id="72157664298239992"]
