fuck, it’s nice here

Fuck, it’s beautiful here! Providence gets a lot of hate for being a less-than-ideal city for many. But I was absolutely blown away by today. Maybe it’s the spooky-rift-to-the-underworld-being-open thing. Maybe it was because I dressed up as “autumnal moments” for Halloween on Friday. But it was like a set of a Hallmark movie about fall over here, and Providence was serving autumn in the best way.

I have a million other things to be doing (obviously), and I woke up with a need to sweat a little bit before sitting down to do homework. I set out to go for a quick run, but I (blessedly) stopped many times to take pictures of how beautiful it was. And now, I’m writing this blog post instead of doing homework because holy fuck, it is the most gorgeous day out today.

This post is mostly just going to be a series of lovely pictures in homage to lovely Providence, in the spirit of gratitude and appreciation.

I saw a fucking awesome ginkgo tree with beautiful leaves.

I set out on my usual running loop, down by this little bridge. I once saw a man with this bridge tattooed on his calf at Coffee Exchange.

I hit India Point Park, one of my favorite spots in this whole state.

And on the way home, I saw the most beautiful trees. Go forth and enjoy the fruits of Providence’s labor.
