A Round-Up of All the Halloween Parties You Need to Know About
This year, Halloween falls on a Wednesday, which makes the phenomenon known as Halloweekend very confusing. Halloweekend is the weekend when pretty much anything goes. You can wear (or not wear) whatever you want, inhabit your alter ego, and party like you’ve never partied before. And all of that chaos simply has to happen on a weekend, even if actual Halloween is during the week. Hence we have Halloweekend, which is usually the weekend closest to the day of Halloween. But when Halloween is on a Wednesday, nothing makes sense. It is equally close to two weekends! The weekend before feels too early, but the weekend after is November, during which it is unacceptable to be celebrating Halloween. After some investigation, it seems that most Halloweekend events are this weekend (October 26th-28th), but to make things easier for you, Blog has rounded up all of the main Halloween parties this year so you know where and when to go to get your freak on.
