New Sculpture Suggestions @ Brown
One of the biggest changes over the summer to Brown's campus was the installation of two sculptures. You may have noticed been smacked in the face with these new sculptures as you were walking to class and you may feel some kind of way about them. A certain big and blue sculpture has caught the attention of our community more than the other (yes, we're talking about the Blue Bear), and its presence has led us to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a bad sculpture at Brown. Seriously.Following this revelation, we've decided to compile some sculpture ideas that Brown could consider for their next piece. Feel free to share your thoughts with us, because as we mentioned, anything and everything could be the next sculpture on campus! If we decide to go with the big and blue theme:
A Meeseeks from Rick and Morty
Clifford the Big Blue Dog
Blue from Blue's Clues
If you're feeling nostalgic because the Blue Bear brought back childhood memories:
That mousetrap game that no one could ever put together
A floating hand building Legos because who doesn't love Legos?
If you're wondering whether sculptures are just for product endorsements:
At Brown University, we think Tide Sticks are the way to go! And not because we were paid to say so!
Do you go to Brown University? Then you should drink Vitamin Water! They donated a building to us last spring!
And if you thought we couldn't possibly suggest a more absurd sculpture idea:
You never know where another sculpture might pop up at Brown, so keep your eyes peeled. The next one might stick around for 10 years instead of 5 (and we're hoping it's the mousetrap one).
