Fred Mezidor

You might know me as…

The kid, the hair, and the strut or the guy with the spikes in The Bear Necessities

When I’m at Brown, you can find me at...

Any of the campus eateries sprinting because I have to go to studio

My Brown experience in six words...

Hottest Mess That I'd Do Again.

Favorite class/ professor at Brown...

Things I wish I knew when I came to Brown...

That money is what really makes college the best years of your life

My favorite Brown memory is…

My very first Campus Dance. It's a truly magical time where Brown past and present and future all come together and get to bond over this solitary degree of separation.

My most embarrassing Brown memory is…

Getting cross-faded for the first time and having to vomit in someone's closet. I got them Duck & Bunny cupcakes as an apology...we're cool...I think...

What I will miss most here next year is…

Not being able to walk 10 ft without running into someone you love with a smile on their face, genuinely happy to catch up with you.

My go-to order in the Blue Room is...

Well what are we talking? Breakfast? Cinnamon Roll and a Chocolate Croissant. Lunch? French Roll with Mayo/Honey Mustard with Chicken Salad, Lettuce, Tomato and a lil Red Onion, Kabob and Curry? Mango Mint Chicken and hella Naan. I take Blue Room pretty seriously.

In my time at Brown, I am most proud of…

Getting to the finish line. College is no small feat. We should celebrate more just getting through it.

Brown’s best kept secret?

FUNK NIGHT. The best time during Commencement.

My post-graduation plans are to...

sleep.

Paige's question: What was the coolest thing you did away from College Hill during your time as a student here? Shooting a video project in the Rhode Island Desert. It's a unique and special place that's the perfect backdrop for any art and self exploration.Up next: Kerlyne Jean-BaptisteFred's question: What has been the biggest obstacle to overcome being a Woman of Color at Brown?
